It's been a good while since I made a piece this long.
It's rather something to play in the background, without devoting all your attention to it, but there's also quite a lot of small detail and variations that I'm sure you'll appreciate in repeated listens.
Big thanks to Louigi Verona for inspiring me with his droning. Singularity was started as a remix of this piece:

I always imagined a drum and bass support to his ambient soundscapes.
I first just wanted to add drums to his track, but when close to finishing I realized there's tempo drift and there's nothing I can do about it - I've decide to remove any connection to the original, and finish Singularity as a standalone composition.
Apart from drums, everything is synthesized with Vital. It's new random sources allow for some modular-like procedural melodies.
There are three drumkits used here:
- LSP Multisampler plug-in using my own set of samples (recorded sounds of flatwere and whatever I had on my desk)
- Fluid Drums plug-in with a jazz set selected
- Geonkick with my own patches
I've finished it off by adding some vocal samples, and recording my own vocals.
It was all done in Ardour 5.12 under Manajro Linux.
